Disgrace on the Z.P Administration to restore the removed post of Deputy Engineers; Santosh Yedge will appeal in the High Court.
Ratnagiri – Deputy Engineer of Rural Water Supply Sub-Division in Taluka R.L. Lathad is a lot of resentment in the taluka against Lathad and there are 27 complaints against him in the taluka. Considering those complaints, Konkan Commissioner’s Office and Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer on 20th March 2024 ordered to remove the charge of Deputy Engineer from him and replace him with Acting Deputy Engineer Aninash Jadhav and after that Vishwanath Hinge. On March 20, 2024, the order was passed with the signature of the Chief Executive Officer, but as he refused to accept the charge by showing the order of the Chief Executive Officer as a basket case, the Chief Executive Officer has been shamed into giving the charge post to RL Lathad again. People are now starting to ask the question that whether the Z.P. Senior Office supports the illegal activities in the taluka? Grievances Deputy Engineer R.L. Lathad is great dissatisfaction among the people of the taluka after Lathad was given the post again. Santhosh Yedge has written a letter demanding immediate removal of his post and a fair inquiry into all his work during his tenure.
An inquiry has been demanded into all the works of during his Lathad tenure. If the inquiry is to be fair, they need to be removed from their post, in fact they need to be transferred from one place to another. As this is not happening, Santosh Yedge will file a PIL in the High Court and seek appeal.
In Sangameshwar taluka Jaljeevan Mission Scheme and Water Supply Department, there are complaints of irregular works in many places, the complainants have not yet received satisfactory justice on those complaints, and they are expressing their displeasure that the removed post has been given to RL Lathad again.
Santosh Yedge said at this time that he will file a PIL in the High Court to get justice for the public as the Zilla Parishad administration is not serious about the irregular works and complaints in the water supply department in Taluka.
